Running server from the selected release was initially implemented this way.
At some point it was broken and now it's returned back again.

Another feature worth mentioning is that bitbake server is running only
during the build. Toaster starts it before the build and stops after
build is done. Previously Toaster restarted bitbake server and observer
processes before the build, so they were running all the time.
(Sorry for not being clear when we discussed this).
