Why the PING?  -rc1 just happened, so I am only now able to apply the
patch to the tree.  Please relax, you are behind about 800+ other
patches in my queue...

Why the PING?  -rc1 just happened, so I am only now able to apply the
patch to the tree.  Please relax, you are behind about 800+ other
