Subject: [for-next][PATCH 03/16] tracing: Reverse the order of trace_types_lock and event_mutex
Date: Fri, 06 Oct 2017 14:06:58 -0400	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20171006180728.718212446@goodmis.org> (raw)
In-Reply-To: 20171006180655.935479946@goodmis.org

[-- Attachment #1: 0003-tracing-Reverse-the-order-of-trace_types_lock-and-ev.patch --]
[-- Type: text/plain, Size: 5127 bytes --]

From: "Steven Rostedt (VMware)" <rostedt@goodmis.org>

In order to make future changes where we need to call
tracing_set_clock() from within an event command, the order of
trace_types_lock and event_mutex must be reversed, as the event command
will hold event_mutex and the trace_types_lock is taken from within
tracing_set_clock().
