* MJ: this was applied for 1.5.0 version in:
https://patchwork.openembedded.org/patch/116023/
then removed with the upgrade to 1.6.1 in:
https://patchwork.openembedded.org/patch/141059/
but as reported before this issue is still reproducible
with 1.6.1
