I think you've seen that problem also with older Kernel versions, but i have
some trouble with my C240 (see my other post), so it might be worth a try to
take the latest kernel and disabling alternatives patching (add no-alternatives
to the kernel command line)
To check that alternative patching is disabled, check that there's no message like
this in your dmesg output:
[ 33.419615] alternatives: applied 158 out of 183 patches
