Running:

	$ export XDG_RUNTIME_DIR=/tmp
	$ weston --tty 1 &
	$ cog --platform=fdo

leads to the 'Segmentation fault' as you described...

Running:

	$ export XDG_RUNTIME_DIR=/tmp
	$ weston --tty 1 --backend=drm-backend.so &
	$ cog --platform=fdo

works...
