I want to have documentation, internal to Linux, that we can point at to provide answers to all the common complaints about these kinds of changes to Linux's (primary English) language usage. None of us need to have the same debates repeated on our lists that we've already had (or other projects have already had). I look at it as a inclusivity (or, frankly, empathy) FAQ. Now, if that documentation ends up just being a couple paragraphs embedded in CodingStyle saying "it's more descriptive, and that reason alone is sufficient to demand the changes", then I'm okay with that too. -- Kees Cook
