Subject: [merged mm-stable] mm-hugetlb_vmemmap-rename-arch_want_hugetlb_page_optimize_vmemmap.patch removed from -mm tree
Date: Tue, 18 Apr 2023 16:35:42 -0700 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20230418233543.27EDEC433D2@smtp.kernel.org> (raw)
The quilt patch titled
Subject: mm/hugetlb_vmemmap: rename ARCH_WANT_HUGETLB_PAGE_OPTIMIZE_VMEMMAP
has been removed from the -mm tree. Its filename was
mm-hugetlb_vmemmap-rename-arch_want_hugetlb_page_optimize_vmemmap.patch
This patch was dropped because it was merged into the mm-stable branch
of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/akpm/mm

Subject: mm/hugetlb_vmemmap: rename ARCH_WANT_HUGETLB_PAGE_OPTIMIZE_VMEMMAP
Date: Wed, 12 Apr 2023 10:30:25 +0530
Now we use ARCH_WANT_HUGETLB_PAGE_OPTIMIZE_VMEMMAP config option to
indicate devdax and hugetlb vmemmap optimization support. Hence rename
that to a generic ARCH_WANT_OPTIMIZE_VMEMMAP
