Subject: [PATCH 2/2] locking/pvqspinlock: Use try_cmpxchg() in qspinlock_paravirt.h
Date: Mon, 25 Mar 2024 15:09:33 +0100	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20240325140943.815051-2-ubizjak@gmail.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20240325140943.815051-1-ubizjak@gmail.com>

Use try_cmpxchg(*ptr, &old, new) instead of
cmpxchg(*ptr, old, new) == old in qspinlock_paravirt.h
x86 CMPXCHG instruction returns success in ZF flag, so
this change saves a compare after cmpxchg.

No functional change intended.
