Thanks much Boris, I was not aware of this bug or patch, so indeed I
will need to merge in the patch.

Not sure if the 6.11 tree is closed or if the patch can also be added
there. Cc'ing Joseph.

I will merge the patch and report back since I seem to be able to
reproduce easily.
