Subject: [PATCH v9 8/9] fbcon: Use screen info to find primary device
Date: Thu, 17 Jul 2025 12:38:11 -0500 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20250717173812.3633478-9-superm1@kernel.org> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20250717173812.3633478-1-superm1@kernel.org>
From: Mario Limonciello <mario.limonciello@amd.com>
On systems with non VGA GPUs fbcon can't find the primary GPU because
video_is_primary_device() only checks the VGA arbiter.
Add a screen info check to video_is_primary_device() so that callers
can get accurate data on such systems.
