Subject: [PATCH 08/21] nvme-auth: common: use crypto library in nvme_auth_transform_key()
Date: Sun, 1 Mar 2026 23:59:46 -0800 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20260302075959.338638-9-ebiggers@kernel.org> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20260302075959.338638-1-ebiggers@kernel.org>
For the HMAC computation in nvme_auth_transform_key(), use the crypto
library instead of crypto_shash. This is simpler, faster, and more
reliable. Notably, this eliminates the transformation object allocation
for every call, which was very slow.
