Subject: [merged mm-nonmm-stable] xor-improve-the-runtime-selection-benchmark.patch removed from -mm tree
Date: Mon, 03 Aug 2026 21:05:31 -0700	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20260804040532.51B1F1F00A3E@smtp.kernel.org> (raw)

The quilt patch titled
Subject: xor: improve the runtime selection benchmark
has been removed from the -mm tree. Its filename was
     xor-improve-the-runtime-selection-benchmark.patch

This patch was dropped because it was merged into the mm-nonmm-stable branch
of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/akpm/mm

Use plain ktime_get_ns for the timing, use 4 + 1 disks for a realistic
load, and report the throughput on the data disks instead of the that on
the parity disk, which isn't all that useful.
