Subject: [PATCH v3 01/16] tests: update vm tests to prefer locally-built QEMU
Date: Tue, 25 Aug 2026 17:58:36 -0400	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20260825215851.1780608-2-jsnow@redhat.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20260825215851.1780608-1-jsnow@redhat.com>

In 05e4982, we updated our QMP tests to prefer `-object monitor-qmp`,
but this requires a sufficiently recent and modern version of QEMU to
run correctly.

Update the "make vm-build-xxx" targets to use the runscript that will
naturally prefer the locally built version of QEMU so that these tests
launch successfully once more.

Fixes: 05e4982 ("tests: switch from -mon to -object monitor-qmp")
