Subject: Self-nomination for 2026 TAB election
Date: Wed, 7 Oct 2026 15:05:30 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20261007130530.GA1536014@ax162> (raw)

Hi all,

I would like to nominate myself for election to the TAB.

I have been contributing to the upstream Linux kernel since 2018, so
some might consider me more of a newbie compared to others :) I have
done most of my contributions under the umbrella of improving and
maintaining the kernel's clang/LLVM build support and status, which has
required that I build bridges and work with many maintainers/developers
both in the kernel and LLVM communities. Additionally, since last year,
I help maintain Kbuild and Kconfig with Nicolas Schier. All of this work
has given me a certain perspective on idealism, pragmatism, and
maintenance that could be useful to the TAB.

I care very deeply about this community succeeding in the long term and
I thoroughly enjoy working with many different maintainers/developers on
a constant basis as part of my work. I want to make sure that everyone's
interests and perspectives are properly considered and represented in
discussions.

Nathan
