Subject: [PATCH 07/20] ethdev: promote link connector to string to stable
Date: Wed,  7 Oct 2026 14:39:37 -0700	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20261007214115.3092715-8-stephen@networkplumber.org> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20261007214115.3092715-1-stephen@networkplumber.org>

rte_eth_link_connector_to_str() was added in 25.11 and has not changed.
It is a pure enum to string helper with no driver involvement, like the
already stable rte_eth_link_speed_to_str().

The xstats counter enable and query functions are left experimental.
They are currently implemented only by net/mlx5, so the interface
should not be frozen before a second driver has tried to use it.
