Subject: [Buildroot] [PATCH v5 1/2] package/python-snappy: bump version to 0.7.2
Date: Fri, 16 Oct 2026 15:32:58 +0300 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20261016123321.7165-1-flaviu.nistor@gmail.com> (raw)
Even if there is a 0.7.3 on Pypi, there is no 0.7.3 release on the project
homepage, hence the bump to 0.7.2.
Since starting 0.7.0 bibrary is switched from snappy to cramjam, update
the PYTHON_SNAPPY_DEPENDENCIES.
Add also PYTHON_SNAPPY_SOURCE for correct package on Pypi.
Add host-python-cramjam to satisfy python-snappy's setup_requires dependency
on cramjam>=2.6.0, which is checked in the host Python environment when building
the wheel. Without the host dependencie the build will fail.
