I can't be sure if my problem got solved because i switched to fw or because the htb trees got a little changed, i can only say it works like a charm, for about 30mbit parent class, mipclasses, 1700 routes written by bgp. The system is load at 20% usually, and sometimes more when the rrdtool is doing his job.
