Simpler, but somewhat uglier, is to define a macro in one of your
header files (to be included after <stdio.h>):
#define printf(fmt, ...) { printf(fmt, ## __VA_ARGS__); fprintf(log_fp, fmt, ## __VA_ARGS__); }
