The community as a whole wastes *WAY TO MUCH TIME* worrying about microsoft. How about instead of making Exim not talk to exchange servers you do somthing usefull, like fix bugs in code? Or instead of inspecting mail headers to see if somebody is using Outlook or Eudora or some windows client you do somthing that benefits and helps the community. I don't agree with this. While it's true that the Linux community worries about Microsoft and their choke hold on the world, I don't think they worry any more than the Mac, BSD, or Solaris communities. Though you wouldn't know it by reading all of the ranting on Slashdot, most of the Linux community is doing highly beneficial work and they AREN'T wasting time. My favorite example of Microsoft's stance on security is the ability to hit escape from the login dialog on Windows 9x and have full access to the local machine. So, if they're THAT lax on security for something as simple as a login, why shouldn't people worry about how terrible their security is in other products? -- Tom -- You have received this message because you are subscribed to the selinux list.
