Subject: [parisc-linux] Memory expansion for E55 - PS/2 SIMMS ?
Date: Sat, 17 Nov 2001 13:55:36 +0100	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <3BF65E48.EE40F6F5@gmx.at> (raw)

Hello HP PARISC specialists !

My E55 server (9000/856) is equipped with 64MB RAM in 2
slots. 4 slots are free (six in sum).

The modules looks like PS/2 SIMMS (72 pin) !

Is it possible to update them with default PC compatible
PS/2 SIMMs ?
With/without parity ?
Are they compatible ?

For using Linux on it (I hope this will be possible one day ....)
I would like to have more than 64MB !!

With friendly regards
	Christoph
