You are getting a journaling file system for free and you expect 
technical support for free also? You have a completely wrong 
understanding of what a "open source" project is. Where do you think 
they get the money to fund their development? You don't think paying $25 
is worth recovering your data? Do you know that a data recovery company 
will charge you thousands of dollars to fix crap like FAT or some 
windows related filesystem? Do you think any commercial vendor will help 
you recover your disk for free?

Boy you are fresh.

What good switching to ext3 will do you if you experience a failure in 
the disk, you expect people to come to your rescue  and do it for free?
