What can we do to reproduce this problem,
that is the question...
Btw, wp.exe is exepack'ed. To my memory
exepack was a constant source of troubles
("Packed file corrupt" and the like things).
I would suspect it also here.
Does it help if you unpack wp.exe before
starting?
