Subject: Bug with APM suspend and vesafb console since 2.4.18-pre7
Date: Wed, 30 Oct 2002 08:46:46 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <3DBF8E66.5020701@gmx.net> (raw)
Hello all,
the changes to linux/arch/i386/kernel/apm.c in 2.4.18-pre7 cause my system
to come up with a blank console after resume. The cursor is still visible,
but no text is there. Switching to another console and back fixes it.
I just verified the problem exists still with 2.4.20-rc1.
A binary search turned up 2.4.18-pre7 as the kernel which broke.
