Subject: ACPI Fan Control on VAIO LX900
Date: Tue, 19 Nov 2002 14:04:54 -0800	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <3DDAB586.6040609@netscape.net> (raw)

I just installed 2.4.19 with 9/18 acpi patch on my LX900. I did turn on
all options for fan, battery, thermal etc. However, in my /proc/acpi
directory, I only see the following.

> linux>ls /proc/acpi
> alarm debug_layer dsdt fadt processor
> button debug_level event info sleep

Where is the fan, battery etc? I am trying to shut the fan speed down as
currently my fan is on full blast all the time.

Vikas
