Dale,
Although I have not set the kernel up for AX.25 (at least on my sparc!) I have
been running Linux on an Ultra 5 for 3 years now, in an enterprise environment.
At first I used RedHat 6.2, and then (since RedHat wasn't keeping up with Sparc
updates) I switched to Suse 7.3 for Sparc. The system runs exceptionally well
and was a piece of cake to install. The ultra 5 booted right into an install
disk with "boot cd".
Let me know your progress on AX.25!
