Yes, I loaded 2.5.66-mm3 on my new shrike box
and was disappointed to see that rpm was broken,
and I had to boot back to 2.4.20-8 (RH) to upgrade
anything -
I'll try the
LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.2.5 rpm <...>
routine and see if that does the trick -
