Hello,

I have a brand new Dell Inspiron 500m Laptop which has an 1400x1050 
flatpanel.
The chipset is an Intel 855GM.

I've setup RH8 and the latest XFree 4.3 and also the latest 
2.4.21-rc7-ac1 kernel. I have not been able to get this resoltion 
working with the i810 drv. With an 8 bit depth i get an 1024x768 res and 
with 16 bit depth 640x480 res. max. It seems that the driver cannot 
allocate enough system memory as video memory. In my XF86Config I've set 
64MB of Vid. mem.

I'm not sure if it is the right place to post this kind of message, but 
since it seems to be a PB or with agpgart or with i810 i'll give a try.
I'll apreciate any help and I'm also ready to make tests on this laptop.
