I get the below message when booting 2.4.23-pre5. I do not have an SMP, 
nor do I have my kernel configured for SMP.
System:
Asus P4S8X Mainboard
Northwood Pentium 4 (2.53 GHz)

An unexpected IO-APIC was found. If this kernel release is less than
three months old please report this to linux-smp@vger.kernel.org

Do I need to do anything special?
Attached is my config and my boot messages.
