What kernel are you using? Some kind of
2.6? You have to upgrade your dosemu in
that case.

Doesn't it crash for you on *any* DPMI
program now? It looks like an incompatibility
with the newer kernels and nothing more.
And this was already fixed but IIRC not in
1.1.99.1.
