oops with 2.4.22 alsa 0.9.8 and a non-pnp sb16

 Hi !

With a modprobe snd-sb16, I get a modprobe segfault and an oops !

Logs seem to say that it's correclty detected:

My card worked well with alsa 0.5.x...
