Hi,

I'm using 2.6.0 and kbd 1.08 , and I have some issues under pure console 
and some accented characters like "à" "è" "ò" "ù" "ì" and others , under 
2.4.X these had ever worked well , but booting with 2.6.0 cause to 
output , instead of the right characters , strange symbols .

I'd like to use those characters because I have some files that have 
names with those symbols that I'd like to manage . Under X server all 
works smoothly , but not under Pure console .  I've posted my ".config" 
file too .
