Yes, it will come some day because I think implementing a bochs-like VBE 
system will not be sufficient. I still hesitate for the exact S3 card. 
PCI emulation will also be needed to ease the probing done by the OS.

In an archive called vgadoc4b containing the docs of many old VGA 
chipsets. The X11 server is also a good reference.
