Subject: No ACPI button after sucessfull S3 resume on L3800C
Date: Wed, 17 Mar 2004 14:45:45 +0100	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <40585689.80902@free.fr> (raw)

I would like to clarify the status of this problem as :

	1) There are some patches that have still not been integrated (e.g
http://bugme.osdl.org/attachment.cgi?id=1208&action=view,
http://bugme.osdl.org/attachment.cgi?id=2325&action=view) that fixe
things for some people not for others,
	- It does not work on my hardware with my config but work for other on
the same hardware (with probably a different config which should be an
indication for the reason or conflicting patches). I suspect the
comination of acpi-sleep=s3_bios and APIC could be the culprit...

Anyway, to anyone interested in clearing the situsation the info is at
<http://bugme.osdl.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2321>

Feel free to ask for applying other patches, suggestion to trace the
problem, ...

And remember I said *sucessfull* resume from X :-)
