Subject: Wake on RTC alarm?
Date: Fri, 21 May 2004 23:14:34 +1000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <40AE00BA.3040603@linuxmail.org> (raw)

Hi all.

Kernel 2.4.26.

I've fiddled a little today with getting my laptop to wake when the RTC
alarm goes off. I can set the alarm, and can see that an interrupt
occurs at the appointed time (cat /proc/interrupts). If however I
suspend to disk, it doesn't power on. Is there further glue I need to
make the alarm actually trigger a wake? I've looked at documentation
that talks about enabling wake GPEs, and guess that is what I need. Am I
right?

Laptop is an Omnibook XE3L-GF if its relevant.
