Subject: Using dsdt initrd override with 2.6.6 kernels
Date: Wed, 26 May 2004 15:41:22 -0400 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <40B4F2E2.5020308@hp.com> (raw)
Hi
I am trying to use the initrd patch for the DSDT override with
2.6.6 kernel and noticed that the DSDT is not being overridden.
I've tracked it down to a change in init/main.c where
populate_rootfs() call has moved to the init() function.
Does anyone know why this was made and what's the right fix?
I am just put the call back into start_kernel() and that
fixed everything, but I am not sure if that's OK or if I am
breaking something.
Thanks
-vlad
