I have received an Audigy LS sound card which was kindly donated by Greg Turpin. So, far, I have managed to get some sound out of the Front speakers. My speaker-test program outputs a nice constant tone. When playing in xine, it is not perfect sound, it stops and starts, so I have some work to do there, but I just wanted to update people.
