Subject: Remove autofs v3?
Date: Sat, 12 Jun 2004 17:00:01 -0700 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <40CB9901.20300@zytor.com> (raw)
I have not been actively maintaining autofs v3 for years, and Ian seems
to have done a great job shoring up autofs v4 to the point where it
should be able to take over at least in all scenarios where autofs v3
was useful.
In other words, I don't think there is a reason to deal with the
confusion between autofs v3 and v4 anymore.
DOES ANYONE OBJECT TO ME ASKING LINUS AND ANDREW TO DELETE AUTOFS V3
FROM THE 2.6 KERNEL?
