Similar things may work for you. I am trying to replicate it on 2.6.8-rc2 now, but not able to do so as yet. Follow essentially http://www.bwestermann.privat.t-online.de/3650linux_en.html Start a name server in the machine where the bind configuration is modified to resolve wsockhost.mrouter (/etc/inint.d/named start) Resolving wsockhost.mrouter is the key otherwise the connection breaks after about 40 seconds.
