Subject: (no subject)Help installing 1.2.2
Date: Fri, 30 Jul 2004 14:37:21 -0700	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <410ABF91.2080503@rlknight.com> (raw)

I'm trying to install dosemu-1.2.2, but I'm having trouble.

"Make install" is not installing or creating the symlink for kernel.sys
or command.com. I'm doing a standard install. I have the latest
dosemu-freedos-b9r5-sources.tgz in the source directory as
dosemu-freedos-bin.tgz. I've removed all traces of my previous dosemu
(1.2.0), the build seems to be going OK but when I run dosemu or xdosemu
I get an error message stating that no operating system was found. I've
looked for kernel.sys and command.com but I cannot find them anywhere on
my system.

Can someone please tell me what I've missed?

Thanks,
Rick Knight
