Subject: software iSCSI + raid5?
Date: Thu, 05 Aug 2004 10:53:14 -0500	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <411257EA.4060606@pobox.com> (raw)

Has anyone tried this out on linux yet? Software based iSCSI to
overcome the "how do I physically add more drives" problem, and raid5
for redundancy?

Probably not the fastest, but I'm looking for reliable, cheap, massive
storage. And, I suspect others are too. On a private gigabit ethernet
subnet, or (god willing) infiniband, this might be really nice.
