Subject: Udev infinite loop

Message-ID: <411C9E97.4050707@yahoo.fr> (raw)
Hi,
I've encountered a small problem with udev.
If I mount my ZIP drive with a bad option it goes
in an infinite loop and every ~0.5 second the udev
daemon wakes up and my ZIP starts spinning.
I run fedora core 3 test1 with linux-2.6.8-rc4, udev-026.
So I don't use actually use udev but it's running.
If I do :
mount /dev/hdd4 /mnt/zip -o unknown_option=unknown_value
mount will complain about the option, refuse to mount, and
the infinite loop will start.
I am sorry for the lack of details, but I am not currently at home.
If you cannot reproduce it, please ask me any details you need.
Thanks.
