Subject: drivers for dxr3-card

Message-ID: <4123FCBA.2040900@visual-page.de> (raw)
Hi.
I am very new to alsa, but i want to write a driver for the dxr3
(dxr3.sf.net).
At the moment there is only basic support through a patch for the
current cvs. I want
know to add support for the digital output of the card - dolby digital -
and add support
for ALSA OSS emulation.
So i have a very simple question, does Alsa support mutli-channel cards,
e.g. for dolby digital?
Is there an example/dummy driver for multi-channel audio?
Thanks,
Christian Gmeiner
