Subject: Reset Byte Count?
Date: Mon, 04 Oct 2004 00:56:03 -0500 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <4160E5F3.7010503@mnwebhost.net> (raw)
Hello list,
Is it possible to reset the byte counters that are displayed from
ifconfig or in the /proc/net/dev file? I'm hoping there is a way to do
it without taking the device down. In particular I'm looking to reset
eth0 and eth1 traffic at a specific interval.
Thanks in advance,
-Paul
