Subject: wait_for_sysfs error in /var/log/messages
Date: Tue, 21 Dec 2004 23:25:56 +0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <41C8B104.6080803@swiatek.name> (raw)

Hello,

As requested by /var/log/messages I report the foillowing error message
which happens when I insert my pen drive:

wait_for_sysfs[31656]: either wait_for_sysfs (udev 042) needs an update
to handle the device '/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1f.2/usb1/1-1/1-1:1.0'
properly (no bus device link) or the sysfs-support of your device's
driver needs to be fixed, please report to
<linux-hotplug-devel@lists.sourceforge.net>

The pen drive is available, though and I can mount it and read/write
without problems.

I use Fedora Core 3 with latest versions of software. The pen drive is
more or less no-name.

Please let me know is I you need any more information.
Regards,
Wojtek
