The Rsync command has a bandwidth limit option. I use it like this: rsync -avz --bwlimit 10 -e ssh remoteuser@remotehost:/remote/dir /this/dir/ Check the 'man' pages for more info on the 'bwlimit' option. HTH Regards Rudi.
