Subject: FastTrak SX4 sata_sx4 problems
Date: Mon, 07 Mar 2005 11:08:48 +0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <422C3640.5090507@managerzone.com> (raw)

Hi

I am trying to get a FastTrak SX4 running on my server.
The machine detects the PCI device ok (pci-id 105a:6622), but when
I try to load the sata_sx4 driver, the insmod command hangs for a
very long time, and I get errors in /var/log/messages as per below.

The card has been running fine in Windows before we reinstalled it with Linux.
Currently we are running kernel 2.6.9-1.667smp
