Subject: [Bluez-users] Streaming xmms to a bluetooth headset
Date: Sat, 21 May 2005 21:02:12 -0700	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <42900444.3000302@gmail.com> (raw)

Dear all
This ones for personal use. I want to stream xmms output via a usb
bluetooth dongle to a bluetooth headset.
Kindly let me know what do i need to do to get this to work on a 2.6
series linux kernel and also are there any headsets with which such
stuff is known to work w/o much trouble.

My experience with bluez: I have used bluetooth devices that use bluez
stack for providing basic network connectivity. For example, I took two
machines which had usb bluetooth dongles attached to them and I could
run the regular client-server apps between them like ssh'ing from one to
the other etc. But i dont have any experience with the profiles.

Kindly cc ur response to parakram AT gmail DOT com as i am not
subscribed to this list.

Thanks
