I had similar problem, iwconfig shows speed of 1Mbps.The driver was not stable. In the dmesg the message was coming up: ADDRCONF(NETDEV_UP): wlan0: link is not ready This happened few times. Also noticed that with new driver (compared to ndiswrapper) its able to see less AP in range (3 compared to 7 using ndiswrapper). Surprisingly, the data rate that I got (verified through Iperf) was around 1Mbps. All default settings. Any one faced this issue earlier? Any suggested solutions?
