Yes, I'm always carefull to run matching versions. As soon as I upgraded
to the 2.6.14 kernel, this started happening. I hadn'nt even touched my
alsa packages, except alsa-driver ofcourse. I used the same version but
just compiled the new modules against the new kernel. I've found other
people having the same problem on the web, but the posts ussually go
unanswered... :-(
